In 1966 Rose Thomas and her brother Digger Robinson started a furniture store named Guildford Traders in the heart of Guildford offering a wide range of goods to suit the heritage of the area. Located on the main shopping precinct in Guildford opposite the train station the store sold everything from furniture to watches, Carpets, Rugs and even Transistor Radios.

Fast forward to 1984 and the business evolved and changed its name to Lifestyle Furniture. In 2014 it is now in its third generation of family owned and run stores with showrooms located in Osborne Park, Willetton, O’Connor and also retaining the original store in Guildford.

Over the years the owners have fine tuned their designs and relationships with local manufacturers, they have many years of knowledge and history in the furniture industry ensuring quality pieces that last the test of time. Many customers return to the stores with stories of how their sofas is now 10 years old and still looks perfect but its time for a change, or their sister, Mum, next door neighbour or even Grandparents purchased their furniture from Lifestyle.

This reputation for quality is the key to our ongoing continued success in supplying WA affordable, quality furniture.
